MojitoSwap Discord Engagement System

The challenge

MojitoSwap needed an active Discord environment that could support product adoption, answer user questions, and keep participation healthy around new features, liquidity pools, and token campaigns.

My role

As Community Manager for Discord, I managed day-to-day community operations and worked with marketing and product stakeholders to keep communication useful and timely.

Approach

• Managed a 12,000+ member Discord community for DeFi users.
• Launched recurring engagement formats including AMAs, quizzes, and events.
• Supported marketing communication around features, liquidity pools, and token campaigns.
• Collected user feedback and delivered key insights to the product team.

Outcome

Community engagement programs increased participation by 180% while improving the connection between user questions, campaign messaging, and product feedback.

What I learned

Community operations work best when engagement is purposeful. Events should not exist only to create noise; they should help users understand the product, discover value, and feel heard.
